Golfer Horace Hutchinson recounts his voyage to the Straits of Belle Isle on the Sunbeam Amateur golfer Horace Hutchinson recounts his voyage from Invergordon, Scotland to the straits of Belle Isle on the yacht 'Sunbeam'. A scarce work and a presentation copy, with fourteen illustrations, collated and complete. As well as playing golf in the late 19th century, Hutchinson was also a prolific writer and published several volumes on golf and sport. 'Presentation copy' blind stamped to title page. Bookplate of 'C. & L. Banbury' to the front pastedown. Sticker from 'Edward Baker's' booksellers in Birmingham to the front pastedown. In the publisher's original blue cloth binding.
