Contemporary quarter leather binding with gilt spine lettering, marbled paper boards and endpapers. ; INSCRIBED on half-title page: "Al ilustre General Julio A Roca, gloria de la Argentina, su admirador y aff amigo - El Autor". The leather spine bears the gilt initials J. A. R. at its tail. General Roca was President of Argentina and Rahola met with him during this trip. Spanish language text. An uncommon association copy of this well-regarded travel work by a Catalan economist and business leader interested in furthering Spanish exports to the Americas. ; 487 pages; Signed by Author .
