From his early life in Austria, his life in Dublin, foundation of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Dublin, as well as his controversial personal life. 513 pages, with Index, B&W photos through the text. This copy is the 1990 reprint. The dust jacket is intact, and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Very sturdy black cloth covered cover boards, with the title printed in gold within a blue field on the spine. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn, no edge wear. Very nicely printed as is usual with Cambridge Univ. Press titles. Sewn binding is tight and square. Edges of the text block are clean. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. This copy is not a remainder copy, not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
