Reprint. 9 works in 8 volumes, this collection in the publisher's slipcase includes seven reprints of difficult to find microscopy titles, plus two with new material. Individual volumes are 8vo, green leather(ette) and contained in a nice slipcase. This set is in fine condition, noting wear to the tab at the base of the slipcase. The work by McCormick on 18th century microscopes is first published here. And Bracegirdle's History of Microtechnique is substantially expanded from the first edition, here for the first time with many new color plates.
