Hardcover. 4to. 27cm, first edition, in 2 volumes, viii,[2],200 & [ii],164,[4]pp., 2 engraved title pages & 118 engraved plates, folding engraved map, with 2 extra engraved title pages and 8 extra engraved plates loosely inserted, rebound in maroon polished sheep, gilt ruled raised bands, crimson leather labels gilt tan linen boards, bevelled edges, a.e.g., all the plates have tide line damp staining along the top margins, some plates have a small damp stain along the bottom margin, the images are good strikes (s8).
