About This Item
From the Author's Preface to the American Edition: "It is too easy to dodge the question by saying, ironically and mockingly, that according to my teachings, everybody is a little crazy, and consequently it is hardly worth the while to trouble oneself to make distinctions."
Basically the book discusses the3 replies that a magistrate, assisted by the physician, may make regarding how a criminal should be treated.
Fair condition. Green cloth covers with gold gilt text. Light edge, corner, and spine wear; however, there is a bumped spot on the front crease of the spine. The front cover and end papers have separated from the spine, but the remainder of the binding is good. Closed book edges have some soiling. Page text is clean; however there may be some soiling or stains.
