A sensitive story about Walter McCloud who comes to understand the frail hold on happiness that a family maintains and how easily that happiness can be shattered. Synopsis
Jane Hamilton lives, works, and writes in an orchard farmhouse in Wisconsin. Her short stories have appeared in Harper's magazine.
