New York: Harper & Brothers, 1903. Title page dated 1903. Externally worn, internally good. Short stories, some in southern dialect, illustrated with 14 black and white plates. Red pictorial cloth printed in gilt, green and black. Covers have some use-related soil a faded but still legible spine, edgewear, good hinges, sound text block, mainly clean pages with a few having finger soil to the margins, 1903 gift notation in pencil on the front free endpaper, no other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
