Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title page, "To Shirley + Jack Bravo Love, Sophie Tucker Jan 1/56." Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Author photograph by Maurice Seymour. With the recipients' ownership stamp to the dedication page. "Some of These Days is great entertainment. It is as sincere and real as Sophie herself" (Fanny Brice). Emigrating to the United States from the Ukraine when she was a baby, Sophie's family settled in Connecticut.
