About This Item

(Cape Town: Maskew Miller, 1929). 8vo; original grey pictorial cloth; pictorial dustwrapper (torn, with loss); pp. (viii) + 195, incl. index; 16 cartoon plates by 'Quip'. Dustwrapper edgeworn and torn, with substantial loss to upper panel; endpapers, outer leaves and edges somewhat foxed, some spotting elsewhere. Very good condition, in a fair dustwrapper. The politicians profiled in this volume are the following: CABINET MINISTERS. General J. B. M. Hertzog, T. J. Roos, Dr. D. F. Malan, F. H. P. Creswell, N. C. Havenga, F. W. Beyers, C. W. Malan, P. G. W. Grobler, J. C. G. Kemp, T. Boydell, H. W. Sampson. EX-CABINET MINISTERS. General J. C. Smuts, Sir Thomas Smartt, F. S. Malan, J. W. Jagger, Patrick Duncan, N. J. de Wet, H.
