Hinges are weak but binding is otherwise sound. Spine torn and partially detached. Former owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Text has spots of foxing on most pages and a few scattered creases and smudges. ; Contains the first U. K. Publication of the Sherlock Holmes story: 'The Adventure of the Silver Blaze'. Also includes Harry How's seven-page: 'A Day with Dr. Conan Doyle'. As well as stories by Jules Verne, Alexander Dumas, Guy de Maupassant, etc. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 684 pages .
