Synopsis: A chicken named Arthur Cluck disappears, and his mother questions various farm animals about his disappearance. An owl volunteers to help her. He eventually tracks down a pack rat who has a colored egg. The owl believes that this clue needs to be checked out. The egg came from a farmhouse, but he does not see it as he peers in the window. Looking around the farmhouse yard, the owl spots a truck with a crate of chickens who all answer to the name of Arthur. He takes all of them home to the mother. How will the mother know which Arthur is her Arthur?
