1910. unbound. 9.5 x 7.25 inches, mounted to 10.75 x 8 inches -- an original 1909 Moffett Studio Platinum Print Portrait, 25 Congress Street, Chicago, Illinois, taken as the "Official" portrait during his Governorship of New York, inscribed on his very last day in office as Governor -- and only seven days before he would be sworn in as Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court: "To the Teachers and Students of Nyack, With my best wishes, Charles E. Hughes, Oct. 3rd 1910." Fine condition.<br/><br/> American statesman, Governor of New York, Presidential candidate and later Associate and Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.<br/><br/>
