About This Item
London: Stanley Paul, 1952. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. A fine copy in a VG+ D/W with a partially faded red spine and a touch of creasing at the head of the spine. Written by Ramsey when he was a member of the Tottenham Hotspur side that won the old First Division in 1951. Ramsey, of course, went on to manage England to their greatest-ever triumph at the World Cup in 1966. Signed by Sir Alf Ramsey in blue fountain pen ink on the front free end-paper: "Best Wishes/ Alf Ramsey". Ramsey's signature is quite elusive
