Boston: James H. Earle, 1888. Early printing [1888], first published 1885. Victorian binding in tan cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and black, frontis portrait of Grant, decorative endpapers. Light edgewear to covers, good hinges, sound text block, small transparent spots to lower and outer edges of frontis plate (not affecting printed areas), pages age-darkened but clean, readily legible and not brittle, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
