About This Item
London: Quercus, 2006. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. A very fine copy in like D/W. Signed by the Author on the title page. First book and winner of the 2006 Costa Book Award (formerly the Whitbread Prize). This author has done NO public signings and signed copies are thus genuinely scarce. A compelling mixture of adventure, murder, mystery, romance and story-telling set in Canada in 1867. Quercus is making a bit of a habit of unearthing top writing talent and this author is cerainly one to watch. One for the Pension Fund!
