This small children's book is one of a series that contains all together three booklets by the Kner Publishing House (one of the is "Mese a bútorokról" by Anna Lesznai).
Béla Balázs (1884-1949) was a Hungarian-Jewish film critic and aesthete, also a writer and poet. He is known as the the librettist of Béla Bartók's "Bluebeard's Castle" and the writer of the scenario for Bartók's ballet "The Wooden Prince".
Lajos Kozma (1884-1948) was a graphic artist, designer and architect in modernist and art deco style. His furniture designs were published in several magazines and books, among others in Alexander Koch's Innendekoration and in Neue Werkkunst by F. E. Hübsch Verlag (Möbel und Raumkunst von Ludwig Kozma mit einer Einleitung von Ernst Kállai, 1926), his graphic designs in Gutenberg Jahrbuch.
