Extra-illustrated by the insertion of about 40 fine portraits, some being Thackeray, Dickens, and others. Frontis. Bookplate to ffep. Leather edges mildly rubbed, leather sunned, offset to enpages from leather edges. Sound and square copy. Previous owner (bookplate) was Paul Rodman Mabury, whose father helped establish the Security Pacific Bank; Mabury himself was a banker and philanthropist. ; 50 Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 211 pages .
