Cassell and company, limited, 1895. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1895. New Edition. 492 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Binding remains firm. Hinges are cracked with netting exposed. Previous owner's inscription to first title page. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Thumb marking present. Occasional foxing. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges causing discolouration. Gilt lettering is darkened. Splits to spine front joint. Book has a slight forward lean.
