Nd (ca.1946): np/np. Quarto. 162 leaves printed on retos only. Before his death in 1946, George A. Hormel, founder of the Hormel Meat Packing Co. wrote this book. He then wrote about his son who developed SPAM and became the staple of the diet in both American homes and the military. His son, George A. Hormel II, known as Geordie, became one of the major figures in the music business, creating The Village recording studio, produced many of the key people in pop and rock music, and bought the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. This photocopy (?) of the typewritten manuscript are copied only by permission of the Hormel family. A very scarce item bound in maroon cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, corners only slightly bumped, small staining to outer margins of pages 38-50 affecting some of the type near margin.
