Reader reviews for The Three Virtues

From the publisher

This book presents three lectures given by Karl Konig in 1958 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. In these lectures on the mediaeval virtues of poverty, chastity, and obedience, Konig traces their historical antecedents and brings their contemporary relevance into sharp focus.

Karl Konig, founder of the Camphill Movement and well known as a medical doctor, author, and lecturer, was born in Vienna in 1902. His lifelong work for the handicapped included the founding of the Camphill-Rudolf Steiner Schools for children in need of special care in Scotland in 1939, and later grew to encompass work with adolescents and adults in schools, colleges, and village communities throughout the world.
