Internally there is a very small neat name to front endpaper else clean, tight and unmarked - a Very Good+ copy. Map endpapers with 16 half tone plates and 36 line drawings. A most delightful small volume which captures the essence of the places, history, buildings and other items of interest. Written by a man whose family has played a notable part on the Scottish side of the Border since the 11th century, when the house of Gospatric first appears in the pages of history and whose descendants took themselves the name of Home. B2D. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
