In the first story, Tom, Huck, and Jim are swept up in a hot-air balloon and carried to Africa to confront wild lions, bedouins, sandstorms, and mirages on a sweating, thirsting exploit. In the second story Tom solves a diamond robbery and murder involving his Uncle Silas. The courtroom scene shows Tom to be a master sleuth. A clean very presentable copy.
