Full burgundy leather, decorated in gilt, top edges gilt and gauffered. Few minor marks, spine faded to light brown, slight toning to edges of text block. Very good condition. Text in Spanish. Ezequiel Padilla (1890-1971), Mexican statesman, wrote this book when Secretary of Foreign Affairs. During the period from 1920-1940, Mexico was undergoing a substantial change after revolting against the leadership of Porfirio Diaz, consolidating and implementing gains achieved in the Constitution of 1917. Padilla was among those leading the way.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 294 pages .
