Small octavo, brown imitation of bark textured cloth covered boards with gilt title. 108pp. plus final photograph. AUTHOR SIGNED LIMITED EDITION #414/500. Illustrated with 16 full page black and white photographs including "Chicken Fight in Juerez [sic] Mexico", "Chinatown: San Francisco" and "Indians Gambling at Reno Nevada" plus several of California Missions inter alia. A paean to the American West, (especially the West Coast) as a travel destination for Americans instead of the "Grand Tour". A near fine copy with bright gilt title. Offsetting on lower half of copyright and next page from previously laid in item and spine faded a bare quarter tone, else fine. A very attractive copy of a scarce item..
