This is an antique copy of "TYPOGRAPHIA ~ or, The Printer's Instructor" by J. Johnson. Volume II only of a two-volume set. 1824 1st edition; Messrs. Longman, Hurd, Rees, Orne, Brown & Green; London. There is an illustrated title page, a frontispiece, full-page engravings, and in-text illustrations. "Including an Account of the Origin of Printing, with Biographical Notices of the Printers of England, from Caxton to the Close of the Sixteenth Century; A Series of Ancient and Modern Alphabets, and Domesday Characters; Together with an Elucidation of Every Subject Connected with the Art." The book is smaller in size - it measures 5 1/4" tall x 3 3/8" wide x 1 3/4" thick.

The book has been rebound with cloth over the spine; the original spine label has been applied over the cloth. Rounded cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only some light foxing to the frontispiece and illustrated title page. Overall the book is in Good condition.
