The dust jacket has minor edgewear, a dampstain on the top edge, is lightly faded on the spine and the front inner flap is crumpled near the center. Text in Estonian Language. Locale: Estonia. Notably, Willat developed the first cold permanent wave equipment, in its time a revolutionary advancement in hair care. Inscribed and signed by Willat on half title page thus: "With best wishes | Sincerely, | A. F. Millat." Signature unconditionally guaranteed to pass any COA examination. In 1952 Millat famously boasted he would pay $1,000 to any person whose hair he couldn't curl. He was never proven wrong. Also signed on back panel by the notorious Herbert M. Shelton (see attached image), an American naturopath, alternative medicine advocate, author, pacifist, vegetarian, and supporter of rawism and fasting.
