General shelfwear. A few small tears and chips along edges near spine. Gilt lettering to spine of dark blue, cloth-covered boards. Numerous fascinating black and white photographs. Clean, tight, bright. 326 pp with acknowlegements and list of photo credits. A centennial publication, 1868 -- 1968. "The volume is a comprehensive history of one of the world's great institutions of higher education. Here, in more than 600 photographs with captions and text, is traced the growth of the University, from early, struggling days in Oakland to the nine-campus complex of today, with a student population of over 95,000," (front flap).
