Heavy tanning and foxing to text block edges, pastedowns and endpapers. Light cracking to front hinge. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Moderate bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed, with sunning to spine.

I received this book as a gift for my 18th birthday in 1955. The title, age and not liking to read, I filed it. When I did pick it up in n my 30's and read it it became one of my favorite reads.
