New York: Valentine's Manual Inc., 1925. Book. Good. Hardcover. By Editor. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Hardcover, blue cloth with the seal of New York City in gold on front board. Top edge gilt. 404 pages. Signed presentation copy by Henry Collins Brown [editor] to George Carroll, dated Jan. 12, 26 on front end-paper. Illustrated with over 150 drawings, engravings and photographs, including a color frontispiece and 5 full color double page plates. First edition. Gilt blocking and lettering on spine completely faded. Cloth covers show minor age wear and soiling and are slightly shaken. Else hinges are strong and not cracked. Interior pages are clean and unmarked. A nice presentation copy in good or better condition. .
