This is a new, unopened copy still in the publisher supplied shrink wrap. Bright yellow cloth covered boards. 271 pages, 8-3/4" X 11". Published by Harry N. Abrams in association with The Metropolitan Museum of Art to accompany an extensive exhibit at the time of publication. This copy is not a remainder, not a library copy. No former ownership marks. the only wear to report is some minimal age spotting to the fore edge of the text. As stated earlier, the book is still in its original shrink wrap.

Ronald Pickvance was an English art historian, a specialist in the work of Van Gogh. He was Richmond Professor of Art at the University of Glasgow from 1977 to 1984.
