About This Item
London: Jonathan Cape [0-224-02234-2] 1990. (hardcover) xii, 338pp. Near fine in very good dust jacket. 8vo. Explores the relationship between the sisters, though not as such, a joint biography. Rather, it is a study of their shared connection, one of impulse, memory, influences, passion, each for their own creative force. Jacket has 3 light creases (perhaps as published) to the front. The book is clean and bright. Rust coloured buckram, with gilt title to spine. Black and white photographs and full colour plates. There is a name penned (small and dainty, in red ink) to the half title page. Overall, a lovely copy..
