A print of a Yellow Flag. Coloured engraving from Pierre-Joseph Redouté's Les Liliacées, 1808. A vintage print, many decades old.
This print was taken from the book 'Wild Flowers in Britain' by Geoffrey Grigson, part of the Britain in Pictures series. This particular edition was published in 1944 by Collins, London. Very light marking, some light visibility/bleed-through of image on other side of plate.
Mounted and matted with white and antique-white acid-free card, measuring 8" x 10" (20.3cm x 25.4cm) with a window size of a little under 6" x 8" and comes in a cellophane bag.
This would make for a lovely gift and may appeal to those interested in flowers, nature, Britain, or art generally.
