About This Item
For Osborne Brown et al London, 1762. later edition. Hardback. Near Fine/No Jacket. Tenth edition 1762 8vo. A complete copy with 4 folding charts. Full contemporary polished calf, a little worn to joints but very square and sound, original spine label in red morocco. Front free endpaper becoming detached from the binding but still in place. Chart 3 is creased but the collective charts are without the usual irritating plethora of handling tears, and without the common foxing. There is a little general age soiling but overall this is a very attractive, unmolested and all original copy. Provenance : Recent bookplate of Colin Malcolm Paul, 18th century ink name John Hall Fordhill
