Catalogue illustrating 24 photographs included in the Center's Jaffe-Friede Gallery exhibit. Inscribed by Evans to John Kemeny, the computer scientist who was then president of Dartmouth College. With: WALKER EVANS: ARTIST IN RESIDENCE. Exhibition Poster. October 27 to November 26 1972. [New Hampshire]: The Hopkins Center, Dartmouth College, 1972. First edition, exhibition poster, limited to 100 signed and numbered copies; this copy is not numbered, but it is signed by Walker Evans [probably an out of series copy for presentation]. Single sheet measuring 19 1/4 by 27 1/2 inches, reproducing a photograph "Kingston Station, Rhode Island, 1953" by Walker Evans. Slightly creased at one corner, else a near fine copy. Now framed, will be shipped without frame. [Kingston 47 poster, not listed separately].
