Laid in is a facsimile reproduction of a Federal Communications Commission public notice FCC 63-734 38372 , with printed marginal notations, dated July 26, 1963 entitled "Broadcast licensees advised concerning stations' responsibilities under the fairness doctrine as to controversial issue programming." Walter Philip Reuther (1907-1970) was an American labor union leader (president of the United Automobile Workers (UAW) from 1946 until his death) and a socialist who became a leading liberal and supporter of the New Deal coalition, and then a leading anti-Communist and supporter of the Cold War and the Vietnam War. Billy James Hargis (1925-2004) founded the Christian Crusade in 1947, as "a Christian weapon against Communism and its godless allies.". Reprint Edition. Printer Wrapper. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
