A new translation preceded by considerations of Werther, and in general the poetry of our time by Pierre Lerox, with a preface by George Sand., illustrated by Tony Johanot, with two vignette title pages, llii pp. preface, half-title before "to the reader", 196(1)pp., (2)pp. ad at rear, bound in 1/4 calf over marbled paper covered boards, flat spine lettered and decorated n gilt, scattered foxing throughout, spine faded. In all, a very good copy.
