A novel of the auto industry--its men and women, their lives, ambitions, successes, treacheries, disasters, and loves. No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but does show some signs of wear with micro-tears along the edges and a 1-inch tear along the upper left side of the front cover. Very slight foxing along upper edge. Pages are very slightly yellowed. This collectible, near fine, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover.
