London: Newnes, 1942 Book. Illus. by Thomas Henry. VG+. Hardcover. First Edition. green cloth, as required, and 1.4" thick at the spine, the true 1st edition of 1942 (a superior production that was issued at 7/6d - and never reprinted in this form! What is often claimed as the "2nd reprint" is actually the first cheap edition, half the thickness with cheaper paper and red cloth issued at 2/6d), nice clean green cloth, bright gilt, inscribed, foxed on text block and preliminary pages, lightly on some page margins, otherwise a VG+ good tight copy.

(5)Confirmation that the card address and delivery address are the same. Books will be reserved for 14 days only pending payment. Postage and insurance are extra at cost. A choice of surface or airmail will be quoted, but high value orders must be sent airmail for insurance purposes. Books may be returned immediately on receipt if they are found not to have been described accurately.
