The Cemetery Records of McIntosh County, Georgia, compiled in 1958 by Mrs. Evie White, unfortunately has proved to be only of marginal use as a reference for genealogists and other researches, as it does not include all of the white cemeteries of the county, nor does it include any of the African-American cemeteries. With the completion of the present study, compiled and published under the auspices of the Lower Altamaha Historical Society, McIntosh County now has its most comprehensive collection of cemetery records to date. Some molting to the cloth covering the spine, and a small hole in spine on the back side. Gilt lettering on front cover is bright, a bit darker on the spine. Signed and inscribed by the author to the previous owner," Presented to Mrs. Lula Hitch Chapmore by the author Mrs. J. L. Walker 1939". Binding is very firm, hinges and gutters are whole and good, pages are a higher quality slick paper.
