London: J. M. Dent & Sons/Aldine House, 1897. Hardcover. VG+. Small format, green leather book. Bright gilt Dent symbol on front cover, bright title in gilt to spine. Shows light rubbing to edges. Some foxing to end pages, but interior bright white. Former owner's name on ffep, with warning below "The wicked borrow, but return not." Top edge gilt and bright. Red ribbon marker laid in. Impressive title page in red and black ink and has tiny red ink mark to margin (from the printer); and equally impressive copper engraved frontispiece (not lithographed, "The Red Bull Playhouse"), with original tissue guard. Printed on high quality paper with very good presswork. Preface [xxi] + 107 pages, including Glossary and Notes. First published in 1607. Several images made for viewing. Questions are always welcome...
