Wells, Gardner, Darton & Co, 1898. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1898. No Edition Remarks. 399 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated green cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Splitting and loss to spine joints, head and tail. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Ink stain to spine at front board.
