About This Item
New York: Duffield & Company, 1908. Hardcover. Very Good. 10 volumes. Small 8vo. In the publisher's original green cloth with beautifully art nouveau decorated spines in gilt to match the Stone & Kimball Set published first. Top edge gilt, endpapers clean and unmarked. Light wear to the cloth at some spine corners and board corners occasionally bumped, a few pages opened roughly and one plate re-inserted neatly in volume 10. This is a the Duffield reprint of the Stone & Kimball. Newly collected and edited, with a memoir, critical introductions, and notes, by Edmund Clarence Stedman and George Edward Woodberry. With illustrations by Albert Edward Sterner. Lovely set.
