Quarto size, 349 pp. First publication under this title, includes information previously published under Mr. Besterman's "A World Bibliography of Bibliographies", which set forth information on 6562 volumes published through 1963. This volume includes an additional 4471 works published through 1973, as well as edited many works previously listed. Contents include: Genearl (Asia and Africa combined), Asia, West Asia, South Asia, South-East Asia, and East Asia/Far East. Pagination follows the information, which is arranged in double columns for works cited and triple columns for the index at the rear.

___DESCRIPTION: Bound in full red cloth, gilt lettering on the spine; quarto size (just over 10" tall), pagination: (i-viii) preliminary pages including half-title, title page, Preface, and Table of Contents, (17)-640 includes works cited, paginated in two columns (actual number of pages is 312), 641-727 includes index, paginated in three columns (actual number of pages is 29).

___CONDITION: Near fine, the binding is clean with only minimal rubbing at the corners, head and tail of the spine, strong, square binding, solid hinges, text pages are clean and bright, and it is entirely free of prior owner markings.
