New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1938. First edition beige cloth hard cover with dust jacket, VG/Good. Scribner's seal and "A" on copyright page. Prior owners name and address inked on front flyleaf, othwise unmarked. Some darkening to cloth and endpapers along gutters. Top edge has light scattered foxing. Corners square, binding tight and firm. Dust jacket has a significant chip to lower front panel (3 in x 1) and shallow chipping at spine ends, light scattered foxing to rear panel. It does retain the original $2.50 price on front flap. New mylar cover. 428pp., illus. by Edward Shenton.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - 8" - 9" Tall.
