Claxton started going to jazz concerts at the age of two in Los Angeles and has photographed and worked with many great musicians and actors, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, and Steve McQueen and produced a book depicting jazz artists of the 1960's called "Jazz Life." This book has many fantastic photos of Chet Baker and his contemporaries and friends.
