Lieberman's Law; Heart Trouble; Biggie and the Poisoned Politician

The Detective Book Club produced volumes of three crime novels from 1942 to 1999. Originally monthly, near the end they dwindled down to just a few per year. Many famous detective and crime novelists had their early works featured in DBC editions. Often, books were published in DBC editions before, or at the same time as they were published in mass market form. Here's a little about our authors:

Stuart Kaminsky: Kaminsky wrote about 60 novels in the genres of mystery and horror, plus biographies, textbooks, short stories, and television scripts. Kaminsky died in 2009. Lieberman's Law is the fifth of ten books in the Abe Lieberman series.

Kathy Hogan Trocheck: Trocheck is a writer of mysteries under this name and romance novels under the pen name of Mary Kay Andrews. She has created two mystery series, the Callahan Garrity series of eight books and the Truman Kicklighter series of just two books. She has also published 17 other novels of crime ans suspense and three collections of short stories. Heary Trouble is the fifth Callahan Garrity novel,

Nancu Bell: Bell, a Texan herself, sets her novels in the wide open spaves of Texas. She has written two different mystery series, the Biggie Weatherwood series of six novels and the Judge Jackson Crain series with three novels. This is the first Biggie novel.
