Appears unread, a few trivial soiling specks to covers, in brown-beige cloth and titles stamped in red type on cover and spine, pages are clean, bright and binding tight. A about fine copy. Scarce presentation copy SIGNED, INSCRIBED, dated 1921 on the ffep. Major Hays (1880-1940) was part of the United States Army Medical Reserve Corps of WWI. (Not to be confused with WWII Airborne medic veteran Harold Hayes of 807th Airborne that crashed landed in Albania in 1943). Scarce in this fine condition and rare presentation copy, signed and inscribed WWI memorabilia, highly collectible. 291 pgs. 8vo.
