THE PUPPET MASTERS" is a science fiction classic set in a future where Earth is invaded by parasitic aliens that attach themselves to the backs of humans and control their actions, effectively turning them into mind-controlled puppets.

Heinlein explores themes of invasion, individuality, and the struggle for control. Heinlein's writing style and storytelling are characteristic of his works from that era, focusing on both action and thought-provoking ideas. "The Puppet Masters" is considered one of the classic works of science fiction and has influenced subsequent writers in the genre.
