Though no provenance markings, this copy from the library of the noted actor and Sherlockian Curtis Armstrong. Inexpert tape repairs to hinges; less obtrusive tape repairs to jacket verso. School library ownership stamps blacked out with marker on title page and rear endpaper; line of white repair(?) to pastedowns where jacket edges lay. Light foxing to endpapers and scattered throughout. Small discoloration to jacket spine from sticker removal.

Fully bound in red leather, in the publisher's slipcase. Privately Printed. The book has been used and is well read, but it is Near Fine, although the spine is a touch shabby. The slipcase has protected the book well, but it is a little scruffy. But what distinguishes this copy is the signature, which is in ink, and is an autograph mounted on the limitation page.
